The Offices of the Museum of Ethnology
Formerly the University Hospital. In World War II the Allied bombed Leiden to thwart the German V2 effort. The V2 bombs were transported by train through Leiden. The bombs hit several buildings in the neighbourhood of the station, including this one. The Museum rebuilt the damaged part in the 1990s, but it still looks rather new. I'm getting old, because I remember that there was only a blind wall on this spot.
