Oldtimer day in Emmen: Mercedes-Benz 200 with rare column shift
The column shift was not very popular, but it was available at no extra cost. It was only possible in combination with an automatic gearbox. Manual transmission was always flour mounted. On the previous model (W115/W114) the manual shift could also be column-mounted.
