A couple of times, back in those days, I was on the verge of hypothermia wearing just a nylon gagoule. They got wetter on the inside than out.

This old B&W negative is one which I only scanned a few days ago. On that same walk on that same day, when we'd descended into Glen Coe, I got 2 more pictures on that same film, one of which was to win a prize and be published. Others in the group had cameras with them and had the same opportunity to take the same shots, but they just walked past.
