To explore disused railways is fascinating; to discover them unexpectedly a delight. The first evidence of the former Midland & South Western Junction Railway in Swindon which I came across was the bridge across Evelyn Street, viewed from Marlborough Road. The route is accessible from the left of this picture and from there I was able to trace part of it further towards Swindon centre.
