HMS Queen Elizabeth (10) - 9 September 2020

I thought long and hard about the inclusion of this concluding shot from my series but wanted a simple picture to emphasise the sheer size of HMS Queen Elizabeth as she passed Fort Blockhouse on the way to sea. I also liked the wake in the foreground as a way of solidifying the image.

I usually work with more than one camera available so as not to miss shots and so, as Queen Elizabeth filled just about any frame at this point, I switched from my Nikon DSLR to the very capable TZ70.
