British Airways B747-400 G-BNLY in storage at Bournemouth.
As of 19 May 2020, well into the coronavirus crisis, there were reported to be 40 British Airways aircraft stored at Bournemouth comprising 13 A319s, 16 A320s, 6 A321s and 5 B747-400s. To see them was a sobering and emotional sight. All 5 747s are featured in this series.
This edit in b&w with the foreground retained is the central photograph to my series, capturing, I hope, the sombre nature of the subject.
