A Sad Last Look at Thomas Cook (5) - 24 October 2019
My visit to Newquay today was, primarily, to see the Thomas Cook aircraft which had been moved there after the sad collapse of the business. There were five aircraft in the care of Apple Aviation, 3 x A330 and 2 x A321.
Here, A321 G-TCDX was receiving a lot of attention - although I waited for people to be out of an already busy shot. The no. 1 engine cowlings are open and it sounded as though the APU was running. I would not normally post a photograph including a fence and ground equipment but I was not going to miss any opportunity before the former Thomas Cook aircraft find new lives.
