From Kalydon to Elounda - 3 October 2019
This tranquil scene in Crete is viewed from Kalydon (Spinalonga peninsula) which is linked to the mainland at Elounda by a causeway. The bridge at the island end was built by the French army in 1897 to facilitate the passage of small vessels.
