Great White Pelican (1) - 21 May 2019

Another shot from ZSL London Zoo, Regents Park. As I approached the pen from the path behind the birds in this picture, they were so immobile that I thought they were models. During a subsequent stream of visitors as close as the low fence permitted, they were very placid. The Great White Pelican is one of my favourite birds.
