Fiat 600 Multipla mini-van (1959)

The Fiat 600 'Multipla' was a special model of the Fiat 600 and, as a versatile multi-purpose vehicle, anticipated the vans of today.

This car bore a name later re-used for what many will agree was one of the ugliest cars ever. The later Fiat Multipla (1998-2010) mercifully received a significant facelift in 2004 but the earlier models were inexplicably ugly although the model did receive awards.
