Exeter Roofline - 2 February 2018
The building central to this picture is Mol's Coffee House in Cathedral Close, Exeter which has a history traced to the 16th century. However, my attention was on the remarkable and, it must be said, somewhat incongruous bell tower of St Martin's. The church, managed today by the Churches Conservation Trust, was built in the 15th century and the tower, reportedly, in 1675 although it really does look 'stuck on'.
