Rochester Airport - 6 October 2017

A simple shot to introduce a short series from a rare visit to Rochester Airport, Kent. Like many airports, its future has been called into question on occasions so I was pleased to see information pertaining to the proposed and much-needed paving of a runway 02/20 which would have a grass parallel as well some improvements to the buildings at the south end of the airport. In fact, there is an encouragingly positive vision for its future in this document:

The hangar complex below this sign is quite old but contains a large number and variety of aircraft.
