Lupins in Reykjavík - 16 June 2017
Lupins are widespread in Iceland. The long drive from Keflavik to the city of Reykjavík takes one past miles of verges and fields which brighten even a cloudy day. The type is the Nootka lupin (also lupine) [Lupinus nootkatensis]. This pleasing shot was taken in suburban Reykjavík in the evening.
