Time For A Change - 8 August 2015

Class 66 locomotives dominate the UK freight scene and are possibly the most documented of all locomotives. I have added many of my own pictures to the collective document and continue to do so with, I hope, the occasional variation to common themes.

For one of today's many shots I have drawn on a theme I have used before. Crew changes at Eastleigh's platform 3 are commonplace and an important part of railway life. Here the drivers of Freightliner 66414 have time for a few words before the new man takes the train on towards Southampton.
