Lunch at Alresford (3) - 4 July 2015

This picture continues a short series of non-railway subjects photographed, perhaps unexpectedly, on the Mid-Hants Railway. The accessibility of the railway and the relatively gentle pace of its activities allow plenty of time to find subjects away from the locomotives and rolling stock. This blackbird was relatively tame and was engaged in eating some sort of indistinguishable lunch, perhaps a snail recently out of the shell.
