Joy on an unplanned visit to Cotswold Airport (Kemble) when I found withdrawn BA B747-400 G-BNLZ there was tinged with sadness that it should be there at all as the type is gradually phased out by the airline. Nevertheless, this picture makes a very welcome addition to my group 'Farewell to the BA B747-400'.

LZ was withdrawn on 31 March 2015 at Heathrow after arriving from Las Vegas as BAW274. It was flown to Cardiff the following day as BAW9171 and from Cardiff to Kemble on 12 May 2015 as BAW9154.
