Withdrawn Underground Stock at Eastleigh - 29 November 2014

Eastleigh Works emerged from the shadows of seemingly irreversible railway contraction to become a new attraction for the enthusiast and photographer. On many days of the year, there is a huge variety of stock and locomotives to be seen and I am now used and resigned to making the best use of a long lens to capture the changing scene as well as today's lack of access allows.

That scene has, in recent years, included a steady procession of withdrawn Underground stock for cutting up. This autumn Saturday saw two more units possibly awaiting a similar fate.
