The Crystal Amazes (2) - 22 October 2014

The Michael Lee-Chin Crystal (Daniel Libeskind, 2007) is the Bloor Street face of the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto. It has been both admired and detested. I was, at first, if not repelled, then not attracted and I do not much care for the execution of the interior which is, perhaps, as much the responsibility of the Museum as the architect. However, as I left on a bright day, I was gripped by the power of the exterior.
