Midford [S&DJR] (11) - 22 August 2014
Midford station was closed in 1966. The New Somerset & Dorset Railway has purchased Midford as its northern base and plans to rebuild it in 1950s/1960s style.
The Midford viaduct carried the railway south towards Wellow and, in an unusual arrangement, a lower viaduct carried the GWR Camerton branch. I was very pleased with myself for getting my own version of a view I had seen online.
