Yad Vashem - a place and a name

Yad Vashem is Israel's official memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust and is located in Jerusalem. Each of my images is produced in colour and black and white. You can decide which better conveys the message of this important place.

It was a shock to turn a corner between exhibits and be faced with a replica of the infamous gateway slogan from Auschwitz, here marking the entrance to the part of the museum documenting the concentration and labour camps.
