S&DJR Remembered (13) - 15 April 2014
As I continued my occasional pursuit of the remains of the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway, it was a disappointment to find Shillingstone station closed and Blandford Forum station obliterated. It was, in equal measure, a joy to discover in nearby Langton Meadows the remains of the bridge which once carried the line towards Spetisbury. I find this kind of achitectural history quite gripping.
