Wallington Footbridge - 26 December 2013

Many of the days in December have been, to say the least, difficult for the photographer so a bright Boxing Day was very welcome. I like holidays for uncluttered photographs and, here, the early morning light was the kind which makes you gasp slightly in the moment you know you have to take a picture. Bridges are amongst my favourite structures and I have been considering this from different angles for many months. This pedestrian route crosses Wallington Way in Fareham from Wallington Hill (Wickham Road).
