Bliss Dance (8M) - 17 November 2013

'Bliss Dance' (2010) by Marco Cochrane is a sculpture of remarkable grace on Treasure Island, San Francisco. I photographed it by day, on a beautiful day, but it is known for being lit at night (internally and externally) and there are many beautiful photographs elsewhere online. The piece has not fared well in the open air and an appeal is in hand to allow it to be weatherproofed. This series, especially the b&w images, focuses on the undeniable grace of Cochrane's sculpture in detail.
