Old St Mawgan Tower (Mono) - 14 September 2013

The present day Newquay airport [EGHQ/NQY] will always live in my memory as St Mawgan [EGDG], once, together with Leeming, a master diversion field. A lot of European money has gone into developing the airport and only yards from this delightful old control tower is the home of the Classic Air Force at Aerohub, the subject of a separate set on my photostream. The new control tower is west of this position.
