KM Weipa
The KM Weipa moored at Corporation Quay in the Port of Sunderland. Unfortunately the ship arrived in the early hours of the morning thus missing out on seeing this huge ship making the tricky passage on the River Wear.
Built in 2017, the ship has a deadweight of 63,000 tons and is owned by the Taiwanese Kuang Ming shipping company. It had left Monfalcone in Italy in early September, taking almost two weeks to make the trip to Sunderland.
PIP #1: A closer view of the wheelhouse and the company logo.
