Sunderland Harbour
An outbreak of colder weather in mid December brought significantly colder temperatures to the area, with lows of -9C on some nights.

Unlike a few other areas in Britain, there has been relatively little snow, but a dusting last night added a nice touch to the beach at Sunderland harbour, with a Cumolonimbus cloud passing in the distance.
