The Fairy Pools

The Fairy Pools
At foot of the Black Cuillins near Glenbrittle are the Fairy Pools, beautifully crystal clear blue pools on the River Brittle.
These famous pools entice visitors from all over the world, as they make some great ‘Wild Swimming’ for those brave enough to enter the cold water. For the less adventurous these magical Fairy Pools make some fantastic photos.

Well, I swam in Loch Coruisk, just over the mountains from here, and froze my b*ll*cks off!
This is a wonderful shot, TOZ!
(and full of nostalgia for me, we did the whole Cuillin Ridge, but due to mixed weather, we couldn't manage it in one go, so we did it in stages over three visits in the late 70s and early 80s!)

Perhaps I was being disengenious when I didn't mention the In Pin! On our first visit we had high hopes of doing the whole thing with one overnight stop and we were then going to include it but the weather was against us. On our next two visits, it was definitely off the agenda!

A great photos here that I seem to have missed when posted. The red coated girl seems a little too good a coincidence for it to be somebody you knew. Lovely soft flowing water speed too. Well done.
