Statue ohne Gesicht
Eine der beiden großen Skulpturen rechts und links der Gloriette beim Schloss Schönbrunn (Wien). Man kann viel über dieses Bauwerk lesen. Beispielsweise, dass es an die Schlacht von Kolin am 18. Juni 1757 erinnern soll, wo im Siebenjährigen Krieg der Vormarsch des preußischen Königs Friedrich II. auf Wien gestoppt wurde. (Wikipedia).
Aber ich fand nirgendwo eine Erklärung dafür, warum die beiden Statuen kein Gesicht haben.
