Ottawa, "View on the River"-Pano - 2007

Months ago already I was thinking about how to present panoramic shots here on Ipernity. One possibility for me could be a screenshot video. I have only little knowledge about that video thing and because the result was not really convincing for me, I asked Claus-Peter, Markus and Uwe for their opinion. Since none of them shouted "yarks, leave your hands of it!!" I will show you after weeks of silence what I managed to do back then. I am still not satisfied, but my time for such things is very limited and I doubt that I ever will handle moving pictures any better, than here.

An almost 180° panoramic view along and across Ottawa river can be seen here, rather little of Ottawa City ('cause it's in our back), but a lot of Gatineau and a very little of huge Quebec province.

Die Idee ist gut, das Ruckeln finde ich nicht so schlimm.

MMn störender ist, daß die Blickgeschwindigkeit durch das Video vorgegeben wird - ich kann nicht (einfach) einen Teil länger anschauen und dann evtl. wieder in die andere Richtung scrollen bzw. mit der Maus das Pano halten und verschieben. Ist vielleicht aber auch nur Gewohnheitssache.

Habe eben festgestellt, dass du im "Fortschritts-Balken" den Punkt mit der Maus greifen kannst. Damit kannst du den Lauf anhalten und an jeden beliebigen Punkt gehen. Funktioniert auch in FullSize. Nur scheint mir die (Einzel)Bildquali des Videos nicht gerade erhebend zu sein, verglichen zu einem gut aufgelösten statischen Pano.

Ist doch ein sehr schönes Pano, absolut zeigbar.
Was ich immer schön finde ist etwas Hintergrundmusik/ Klangwelten oder ähnliches.
Habe es auch im Vollformat ;-) mir angesehen, alles gut, ich schaffe es noch zur Arbeit.
Die Abspielgeschwindigkeit finde ich auch etwas hoch, kannst du da noch eingreifen? Mit Da Vinci Resolve geht das , glaub ich

Ich kenne mich leider weder mit Video-Dateien/Formaten aus, noch mit Video-Software. Und mein Zeit-Haushalt wird mir, wenn überhaupt, nur einen sehr, sehr schrittweisen Einstieg in diese Thematik erlauben. :-/

Vielleicht sollte man auch das Abspielen nicht automatisch starten, dann kann jeder die Video Conrol benutzen, um durchs Bildzu scrollen.

I didn't take it as a "movie" that time David, but as 6 or 8 single shoots, which I stitched to an panoramic image. A very good and free of charge panorama viewer (WPanorama -> www.wpanorama.com) shows this sequence as screen saver, for example, which I safed to this video file with a further app (audials one).

All in all, the quality is actually too poor, but because I had some work and input already, I finally decided to show it.
