We've been up and down the Route Napoleon so many times in the past, but we've never seen your little corner of it with the sheep etc. I guess it might be because we went from Grenoble down to Nice.
Hope you are enjoying the week dear Nick. I have arrived home and now have a bad back (Adrian doesn't like stopping anywhere on the route home), and I have done my wrist in from all the pruning of wet roses and herbaceous perennials on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.

No you are one the right route. I usually would be motoring from Grenoble down to Nice to pick Isobel up from the airport, before moving on to do a tour of the Alps.

I'm so sorry to read that you not only have a bad back but wrist needing support too!
