Beautiful.Each time I read from Salysbury I remember Sarum, I loved so much.

This was our cathedral when I grew up Dani, we lived twenty miles away in Shaftesbury, later on I lived in Salisbury and for a time worked very close to Old Sarum

Oh Nick...this is wonderful!!!
I like the mood and the lights in the windows...the last sunlight on the top and especially the church itself!

What a lovely shot indeed Nick and at just the right time to catch all the external detail but have the added attraction of the internal lights showing up the windows very nicely indeed

Salisbury Cathedral was our Cathedral when growing up Steve (See my reply to Dani above)
As such it as always been my favourite Cathedral and this time of day showed it off perfectl.

Lovely shot at a good time of day. I have only seen the cathedral from the A36 and I can't even remember why I was on that road.
