A big 'Thank you' to our friend Erhard, without whose help this photo would not be here!

Ihre Idee von Schwarz und Weiß ist interessant. Ich werde ein bisschen damit spielen.

Well taken. It could be captioned "I'm not sure I want to be here". :-)

I would be loath to cross on this bridge. I don't like the swinging movements, they make me feel seasick. The girl seems to be holding on with white knuckles. ;-)

Thank you Amelia and Tiabunna,

Your visits and superb comments are much appreciated!
I looked back at all the photos, and yes, this lady has started her walk over this bridge, somewhat unsteadily. So perhaps the sentiment is correct.. "Bad Idea!"
But in reality it was not moving very much...

Best wishes

Hi Erhard,

Thank you so much for your help in this picture.. Yes, it was fun! Unfortunately I could not get any pictures to show the swing movement of the bridge, it wasn't moving far enough. Perhaps to this lady's relief!

Best Wishes

My dear Füsun,

I am so pleased that you like it. Thank you!!
Of course it did not swing very far, nor drop anybody down into the waters 100 metres below..
I did try a lot of pictures here, but this lady was that best, I think!!

Hi Peter !
the swinging bridge and behind me a marching crowd dangerously accelerates the oscillations and vibrations. I stop: I neither want to advance nor can I go back; I cling to the ropes ... the indecision, the fear, the heart that beats furiously, thoughts that swirl in search of a way of escape ... moment of great suspense!
I really think the Great Alfred Hitchcock's would have loved this picture! And I do a lot!!

Hi Bea,

Thank you for such wonderful words! Perhaps a book could be written... Maybe I could put this forth to a local writing club... "Write a story inspired by this picture..." Very interesting idea!

Best wishes

Hello Peter yes it certainly looks like she is debating whether to turn back here or wait till the crowd has passed .. turn back looks to be winning :))

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your judgement here! Photographic evidence is lacking as to if she continued, or came back. She was holding onto both sides for some considerable distance..
In reality, the bridge does not swing that far, but f you are not used to it....!!

Best Wishes

Hi Peter,

What an interesting shot. I think I would be like the lady in the picture...just not too sure I want to carry on with this! ;-))

Best wishes, Rosa.

Hi Rosa,

Thank you so much for your great observation, and well considered reply. Yes, sure, the bridge moves a little, but really too small an amount to show up in a photo. (I did try!)
Probably not much different from walking on the top deck of a double decker bus..
Definitely fun!

Best wishes
Peter
