Hi Sarah,

Thank you so much, and I am so happy that you have enjoyed it. You have shared pictures of your church, this is certainly different! As I don't live here, I cannot claim to be a regular visitor, but I am sure that many people of Paris find peace here every sunday.
I have added their website link above.

I hope you have a good week.

Best wishes

I visited once only - a school party in 1975 and, more than anything else, I remember being bowled over by the stained glass windows. especially a blue more vibrant than any blue I had ever seen before or since!
Fine shot, Peter.
Best wishes,

Hi Andy,

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm here.. This was my first visit here, and certainly there is a lot of blue, both here and Sainte-Chapelle (which I haven't posted yet).

Thank you Nick, and of course your observation of headcount is correct. This is simply explained by looking at the times, 08:30 and next at 10:00. The photo was taken at 09:25hrs...
I am sure they would have been packed for the 10:00..

My Dear Füsun,

Thank you so much for your very kind comments here. On my previous visit to Paris I did not go inside, but now we can see what we missed! I also have some shots of the outside too! You might find the architecture interesting!!

Hello Peter what a beautiful building and what fantastic clear detail you have managed to catch here when viewed full size .. saved in fav's with a YS

I was going to ask if you saw Quasimodo while here but i hear he was off work with a bad back and ringing in his ears :))

Best wishes ... Steve

Thank you so much Steve,

Your kind words and awards are always most welcome. I do try hard to make nice pictures in these old buildings, in this case 15 versions of this scene. You are right, Quasi was off sick, but his brother was there, he looked a dead ringer for Quasi..... I also have a hunch that Quasi is swinging the lead here...

Maybe Quasimodo's spirit was there...

My Dear Füsun,

What a very clever idea.. Perhaps we have another 'Travelling Spirit' here!!!!

It is hard to believe that Quasimodo walked on those very same floors...

An impressive internal shot of which I do enjoy the lighting here. I remember thinking that this was a 'mighty church indeed' and much darker than you have it here. Very well done ☼

Thank you so much Herb,

Certainly I was impressed too. Perhaps it looks bright because the lights were on, which they would be for Sunday Mass. I checked the exposure, 0.5 sec at ISO 100, so it can't have been that dark!

Hi Steve,

Thank you so much for this very prompt visit. The sad news means so much more when it is a place you have been to.. Then it really hits home.
The good news is the irreplacable relics, particularly the Crown of Thorns, are safe.
I also saw so many people pledging money to rebuild it. You might destroy a building, but you can't destroy a church!
Best Wishes
