It had broken away from its mooring mast the previous day, and a 'fail safe' system deflated the gas bags to bring it down. Why it broke away from its mooring an a calm clear windless day it not clear!

I am happy that you appreciated my efforts here! I wanted to include the hangars, as it lives there, and to make a reasonable picture on what was a dull miserable day.
It does beg the question as to why the rest of the world gave up with zeppelin's before we were even born!
