Hi Marie-claire,

A big thank you for the visit and the kind award! It makes me very happy that you have enjoyed it. The picture dates back to February 2015, a cold spring day, and the setting sun shining off the paintwork.
I will come over to your galley soon and look for the one you took!!

Best Wishes

Hello Frank,

Thank you so much for your appreciation, and for the information about the Harz Mountain locomotive. I have now found a picture of the same locomotive and added that to my gallery for you!

Hi Nick,

Thank you so much! Your yellow star is really appreciated. I had a look at all the pictures from his journey, and I think the reason I chose this one is because the signals are prominent, with exactly the lighting you have noticed too. (Even though I did not realise it at the time)

A lovely shot with stunning light. A very "everyday" kind of scene with, for some strange reason, a bit of a Highland flavour to it. Could easily be Aviemore area. The only thing spoiling it slightly is the signal pulled off in the opposite direction - just looks wrong and absolutely nothing you could do about it, as the signals are so important to the scene. Morayshire looking smaller than usual too, more interesting thanthe usual three quarter shot.
