This is inside the large living room of an Assisted Living Facility....one of my favorite cousins suffered a "Brain Bleed", He was hospitalized for some time, with surgery and "some" recovery, but now is back here locally in this Care Facility to further recover.... this contains some exotic birds... following photos show a bit of what is contained in this glass show piece !

Hi Sarah

A very impressive series of these little birds and their houses. They look so nice with their bright colours. Must be a nice place to stay!

Best Wishes

Hello Peter, thank you I appreciate your visit....yes these colorful little birds are an eye-catcher when approached the living room at this facility... It IS a nice place and we are satisfied with our cousin's care here , until he can return home. Hopefully that can happen, tho at this point, that is still undecided :(( thank Peter, Best wishes, Sarah

Hi Sarah. Please forgive me but I'm having trouble understanding this. I 'm not sure if these are real live birds or ceramic models and I fear it is the former. I thought imprisoned birds was something only the less educated of my Spanish neighbours seem to enjoy. When I first visited Spain in the 80s it was very common. Thankfully it is dying out now.

Hello Andy!! Let me ease your "trouble" here. :) THEY ARE NOT CERAMIC Andy, but very much ALIVE.... so pretty as they flit around in this glass area.... and Andy, I feel the people responsible for this are educated folks. It is well done and cared for.....I do want/ and will/ take a closer look maybe on next visit, or may ask some questions on the ventilation etc in the glass case. I would guess at the top of this case is everything needed for these birds to maintain life, all the feeding at the bottom is always well kept also.

always good to see you drop by for a visit... Best wishes, Sarah

Hello my dear Sarah well all becomes clearer here with this shot i had thought you had found an outside aviary at a friends home with the earlier shots but now see this is an indoor display at tha care home ... certainly different to the tropical fish tanks ect you may expect to find to entertain the residents as they recover

Best wishes ... Steve xx
