St Just, Cape Cornwall, Sennen, Land's End
Folder: Cornwall
Ballowall Burrow and Général de Gaulle in his bath.
I promise this is the last from here (I have no more anyway!)
Ballowall Barrow.
Neolithic tomb chamber ( Ballowall Scillonian Burial Chamber, to be technical) and Land's End in the distance, complete with its apostrophe at long last!.
Another Cornwall sea view for Pam!
Ballowall
Ballowall Scillonian burial chamber, or Ballowall Barrow for short, with Land's End in the distance and that mysterious white cloud again (well, not mysterious to me but it was mysterious according to the Editor of the Times and to a couple of ipernity members who sent me emails in Cornwall the next day asking if I'd seen it. Well ... yes ... ).
HFF everyone!
Just a peaceful view on the short walk from St Just to Carn Gloose and Ballowall.
Tired llama
Near St Just, Cornwall.
Just as I was about to take the shot of this handsome llama, it decided to lie down!
Obviously the hectic pace of life in Cornwall is too much for it!
Carn Gloose (or Gluze) towards Land's End at low tide.
A pleasant scramble up to this point and good views to Cape Cornwall in the north and to Land's End in the south.
Ballowall
Ballowall Scillonian chamber tomb. St Just in the background and tin mine pumping engine house chimney in between.
Ballowall Burrow
Looking Inland: Neolithic burial chamber, tin mine and Saint Just, Cornwall.
Land's End from Carn Gloose, Saint Just.
This cloud formation over Land's End looks normal enough from Carn Gloose but was much remarked upon in the national press. I saw the photos on the front pages of several papers, all taken from Sennen or Land's End itself and I'm still not sure why it was considered remarkable!
