How did I miss 18 months of your photos? Something wrong here surely as this is the first time I have seen your uploads in a very long time!!!

Hi Andy, glad to see you again. Actually I was wondering if something was wrong with you because I also didn’t see any news from your side. So, good to read again your words! At the same time I have to say that I don’t come here as I did at the beginning: I am more active on other platforms. Instagram, for example, where I feel more the Panoramio’s way or in some mountain groups in FB. I don’t know, Ipernity sounds to me, how can I say, too… “closed” and maybe kind of uncomfortable for people who work: it requires alot of time to follow everyone. Have a nice weekend!

It could also be that I was away from ipernity myself earlier this year due to Covid!
I'm Improving now but still with what they call 'Long Covid'. I only ever 'do' ipernity and occasionally LinkedIn. I don't do any other social media as it all takes too long and I dislike Fb and the others. (I was annoyed when Fb took over WhatsApp!).

Oh, that's a bad news. I mean, I have read about Long Covid and I can imagine that you're not living easily. I sincerely hope that you will soon get out to live good again.
By my side though I work as educator with people, refugees and families I didn't meet the Covid so far but as soon as it has been possible I got the vaccine otherwise it would have been impossible to be on duty safely. I'm not against science, just to say...
We live very bad times, beside the pandemic. I mean, before the social media if you said that earth is flat you would have been considered at least out of topic. In the present era you can scream it to everyone on FB and you'll find milions of idiots who do believe that earth is flat, that we have never been on the Moon and that the pandemic is just an invention of Big Pharma and Bill Gates. Milions of sheeps graduates at the Facebook university who have the power to dramatically influence governments, public health decisions, and so on. Can you imagine what it would have happened at the time of the vaccine against polio if FB already existed? What it makes me really angry is the comparison with nazism. How can these no-vax feel like the millions of people who lost their's life in the nazi exterminations camps?
This an era of stupidity.

At the same time if you use it with brain, FB and Instagram they can both be useful, at least this is my experience especially by sharing mountains pictures in the dedicated groups and by meeting others politics and ambient groups.
