Bad Bevensen, Kloster Medingen
Kloster Medingen blieb der einzige Klosterneubau des Protestantismus in Norddeutschland. 1788 wurde der neue frühklassizistische Flügelbau als "Adeliges evangelisches Frauenstift" geweiht. Die Anlage entspricht im Grundriss einem gestauchten H, Kirche und Kloster bilden dabei eine architektonische Einheit, die eher an eine Schlossanlage erinnert.
