Rare in our parts: Blue-eyed grass (member of the iris family)
The plants are only a few inches tall and the flowers only 1/2 inch in diameter, a reason why they are so easily overlooked.

Flowering grasses are worth photographing.
Even though I have two books on grasses, I can't name very many.
