There have always been many people along the river here in Marine City, but...

...but no visitors from Canada this year...

This is the border crossing to Ontario, Canada. During the Spring ice from Lake Huron pushed up against the Canadian shore and crushed the ferry dock. The ferries have since not been able to run, a very sad problem for this little city that is dependent on tourism from Canada.
