Work assignment in Dakar, Senegal as manager of a Canadian Support Project in the mapping area (GIS) of Senegal. Photography work in several regions of Senegal but particularly in St. Louis, former French colonial capital for West Africa and especially in Guet Ndar, fishing district of St. Louis. Numerous trips to Saint Louis were undertaken to build the material necessary for the realization of more than 250 photographs that are part of the collection of the photographer.

Work assignment in Dakar, Senegal as manager of a Canadian Support Project in the mapping area (GIS) of Senegal.

Photography work in several regions of Senegal but particularly in St. Louis, former French colonial capital for West Africa and especially in Guet Ndar, fishing district of St. Louis.

Numerous trips to Saint Louis were undertaken to build the material necessary for the production of more than 250 photographs that are part of the collection of the photographer. New photographs are been added since recent trip to Senegal (November 2016)

Seven exhibitions of these photographs were held including two in Senegal in 2014 and 2015, one in Montreal, Toronto and Paris in 2016. Exhibitions with opening and sale of photographs.

The first exhibition was held during the 11th Edition of the Biennale of Contemporary African Art, 2014 (Dakr'Art). In Guet Ndar, fishing district of St. Louis, from 25 May to 8 June 2015. Exhibition title: Impressions.

Exhibition Description: Solo exhibition comprises 96 works of various sizes. In the multipurpose room of the primary school Cheik Toure in Guet Ndar. More than 1,500 visitors over 10 days. 10 photographs were sold during the exhibition.

A second exhibition was held at the French Institute of Dakar from 26 January to February 27 with an extension of 3 weeks. Exhibition Title: Impressions.

Description of the exhibition: Solo exhibition comprises 92 works of various sizes at the French Institute of Dakar. Many visitors impossible to calculate. The French Institute of Dakar which is located in Dakar’s downtown includes a cinema, a large library, a busy restaurant and a large stage for outdoor performances. The traffic is very large and particularly in the corridor which are between the movie theater and library and were the exhibition was held. Fourteen photographs were sold at the exhibition.

A third exhibition at the Espace Mushagalusa Gallery of Montreal. From 7 to 29 January 2016. Title: Impressions Senegalese.

Description of the exhibition: Solo exhibition comprising 107 works of various dimensions occupying the entire Mushagalusa Gallery. The Muchagalusa gallery is devoted mainly to African art. Nineteen photographs were sold at the exhibition.

Title : Streets of colours

Description of the exhibition : Solo exhibition comprising around 100 works of various dimensions in the main exhibition room of the gallery. Ten photographs and around 20 posters were sold during the exhibition.

A fifth exhibition during the Circuit des Arts Memphremagog was held at the artist studio. From July 23 to 31 2016.

Title : La rue des couleurs

Description of the exhibition : Solo exhibition comprising around 35 works of various dimensions. 15 photographs and around 12 posters were sold during the exhibition. A short article was written in Quebec Art Magazine Parcours, summer 2016 edition.

A sixth exhibition was held at Galerie Métanoïa in Paris. From November 3 to 10 2016. During a Collective exhibition called La Voie Royale in honor to André Malraux.

Description of the exhibition : A section of the gallery was reserved for the artist work. 20 photographs were presented. One was sold.

A seventh exhibition is held at Centre d’Art Orford (now called Musique Orford) From November 2016 to May 27 2017. Solo exhibition.

Titre : Ballade, rue des Couleurs

Description of the exhibition : The exhibition is held in the main hall of the Grand Concert Hall of the Center called Gilles-Levebvre. . More then 500 seats.. 22 photographs of different size are presented.
