Finally, I've joined the Club!

Yay, I've finally got round to becoming a Club member a few minutes ago! Next thing to do, when I get bits and pieces of "free" time, is to start adding the 8,980 photos I have on the flickr website to my ipernity account. Seems like a monumental task ... but, there's no hurry! I posted my very first photo on flickr on 27th August 2006, and hopefully, I've gradually improved since then : ) The staff at ipernity deserve our thanks for making the transition from flickr so great!

Thanks so much, Art, Fran and Pete! It feels good to be here - just wish there were 48 hours in a day! I'm well over half way to transferring all my photos to this site.

Hi Anne! Fran sent me over and I must say you have some spectacular photos. I was only on flickr a few months and the changes devastated me, so I can imagine how it must feel to someone who was there for years. Welcome to the 'Club' and look forward to seeing your shots.

Jim,. I just happened to notice a tiny yellow square with an exclamation mark inside it on one of my "articles"! Sorry I didn't notice it before now! Thanks for your comment. That was very kind of Fran to send you my way : ) Yes, the changes on Flickr annoyed, upset, angered, etc. so many people. Change, when it's not for the good, is never easy to take, though I am more used to that site after all these weeks of "learning". I need to keep my flickr photostream, but am finding it far too much work to run two identical websites. Wonder how long I'll be able to keep this up.
