I have been a photographer since the 1950's - started with a Box Brownie - not the most basic as this one had 2 shutter settings which worked with a little fiddly lever. A big red round plastic window on the back let you see the shot number on the back of the film!
Moved to Balda 35mm (rangefinder), then a Rollieflex twin, Minolta SRT-303 SLR, and then a range of digitals, starting with a Fuji DX-10 (1024*768!!), and then Fuji S5100, S5600, and now my HS-10. Have always liked the way the Fuji processes colours for flowers and landscapes (their colour film was always good too for this vs the Kodachrome/Color which seemed to have more bias to yellow/red.
I have moved from my home at Flickr due to the bad bad bad new policies.
I hope you like my pictures. Please comment on any you feel you want to - good or bad - I can stand critique.
I am one of those who likes to show pictures without cropping or manipulation if I can - harking back to the one shot has to be right days of expensive colour film!
So, good horizons, rooflines etc should happen when you take the shot.
I like to experiment with creative filters too - at shoot time - again find that post processing a little restrictive.
