To mark, with respect, the loss of innocent lives from terrorist actions, of any flavour. 4-6 Jan 2022 - Zamfara [Nigeria] massacres 9/11 - the loss of 3,000+ lives happened 20 years ago. What lessons can be learned from these tragedies and their aftermath ? During 2020-2021 there have been a number of terrorist attacks, mostly small scale, in European cities, eg London, Paris, Vienna. 4th August 2019 - USA - shootings at Dayton and El Paso 21st April 2019 - Easter Sunday - Sri Lanka - eigh…

Blurry, out-of-focus, crooked, crazy photos. IT IS THE PHOTOGRAPH THAT MUST BE BLURRED! NOT JUST THE BACKGROUND.

So that we are always well orientated on our trip through Germany, when viewing your wonderful photo, the location should be included in the image description or in the keyword or you can add a geotag to the image. That is the only rule in this group. And now have fun!

Abstract photos and macros. Engl. Abstract art is a form of expression that began at the beginning of the 20th century. It is characterised by artists increasingly distancin…

A spiral staircase is usually recognisable as a staircase, the image-defining motif should be the shape, the l…

Thank you to everyone who joins my group ‘Animals of Creation – Photos and Digital Art’. NO INSECTS, PLEASE! I hope you will read this message. Once I have reviewed your submissions, I will accept all your work featuring animals, people with animals, etc. My selection criteria will be: Full-frame photos and/or compositions, or good close-ups, macro shots, etc. The framing, image quality and sharpness must be impeccable.
