Ysplix . The meaning of the word:
During Olympic Games (and not only) in Classic Greece, they used to use a special mechanism to control the simultaneous starting of race horses, or racers. This mechanism, already used in 344 BC, was a system, positioned to the race start point, in front of racers, to avoid early starts. Was consisted of vertical wooden pales and twisted animal nerves. The mechanism was called Ysplix .

The group for all transport photos. Car, motorcycle, truck, plane, bicycle, boat, train, pretty much anything you like, as long as there is some form of transport in the image. A group dedicated for Cemetery Photography, photos ONLY captured on “traditional” film (35mm, 120, 4x5 8x10 etc), instant photos (Polaroid, Impossible Project, Fuji etc) and Darkroom Prints.
Any motive power that has taken to rail. Also the structures like stations, tram halts, level crossings and people. I must also ask that the images are in good taste and you would be happy to show them to your 94 year old Granny. I will monitor the pictures occasionally simply to maintain the variety and quality so no dumping please. I want the group to be a quality celebration of rail transportation.
