Please don't wonder too much about the snake on my icon. The symbol of the snake has followed me over the years and it has many positive meanings. I am not too poisonous (I think). ;))

I started photography as a hobby some years ago - by coincidence rather than on purpose. I used to draw and paint or write; taking photos was just something for holidays. But then I was caught by all these beautiful images on Flickr (where I stayed for the last six years).

There is no particular style. My eye is caught by something, a special light, a colour, a mood... It always astonishes me again what my camera 'sees'. Sometimes I find details I haven't seen before - I do like these moments. However, sometimes it is impossible to convey my impressions and it is better to put the camera down and enjoy the moment. Sometimes I like to experiment a bit and play with textures and processing tools. I often carry my small camera with me - because many times I regretted it when I decided to leave it at home. ;)

It will take a while until I have built up my photostream on Ipernity. At the moment I just like to look round, enjoy having a look at your beautiful photos and get used to this new site...
