About James club
I have been taking photo's for more years than I care to remember, I started with a 35 mm Olympus Pen F half frame camera and all these years later I still use Olympus, an OMD EM10.
As I am unable to get out much these days most of my photo's are still life shots although I still manage to get a few shots local to me.
I have a passion for photography and am inspired by some of the old photographers and indeed some of the photographers on here, I just hope that some people may get inspiration from some of my pics. I like most genres of photography and am always willing to learn and try different things, I love macro and detail but I wouldn't shoehorn myself into any particular genre, random and eclectic just about covers it.
I have a simple philosophy when it comes to taking photo's, if I see something I like I will take a pic, simples. I have a sense of humour and like a bit of banter I am also grateful for all comments and likes.
Even though I love creating images through photography the one thing I really dislike is AI created images.

Favourite movies have to be Goodfellas, Layer cake, Shawshank Redemption, Gone is 60 seconds Lock stock and two smoking barrels to name just a few, not into sci-fi though
Favorite books and authors:
I love books and read on average one a week, I like Stephen King but not everything of his,
however I do like 11/22/63, Firestarter, The stand, Billy Summers just to name some
One of the hardest books I have ever read is Schindler's Ark, it is heart-breaking and I will never be able to read it again
