Villagers in Subagan prepare and decorate the appearance of the street with garlands, festoons and parasols.

I never made the experience that Balinese people wave aside when I captured them with the camera. A kind asking before is a matter of course.

This demon statue is prepared already for the Balinese New Year celebration, the parade with hundreds of "Ogoh Ogoh" figures. The Ogoh Ogoh normally have form of mythological beings, mostly demons.

Children always laugh and smile into my camera. They are kids from a small village called Subagan on the way to Tulamben. Say hello to every body!
