Big church for a small city (17.000). Build between 1417 and 1482. A fire destroyed part of the church. Building starts again in 1462 but in 1482 the city is out of money and the church has never been finished. The tower was designed to be 120m. high but is now 60m. or 197ft. (318 steps). Gebouwd tussen 1417 en 1482. In 1456 wordt een groot deel door brand verwoest. De herbouw start in 1462, maar in 1482 is het geld op, zodat kerk en toren niet kunnen worden afgebouwd. De toren telt dan 60 meter hoog (318 treden). Om mijn conditie op peil te houden ga ik nogal eens naar boven. Daar wacht altijd een beloning, wat voor weer het ook is!
